Bakers Delight was established in May 1980, husband and wife Roger and Lesley Gillespie, Roger, a third generation baker established a single bakery on Glenferrie Road in Hawthorn, Victoria Bakers Delight operates over 700 bakeries globally.
“We’ve been baking the common way for forty years. Nice & Simple. And we’re not changing any time soon. Because there shouldn’t be anything complex about making freshly baked goods. While the rest seem to be making a simple process, more processed, we’re happy to go against the grain. With over 500 bakeries across Australia and New Zealand, we’re keeping it that way.”
